Sapt Rishi Ashram is a peaceful and spiritually rich place located near Haridwar, on the banks of the holy River Ganga. It is believed that seven great sages—Kashyapa, Atri, Bharadvaja, Vishwamitra, Gautama, Jamadagni, and Vashishta—once meditated here, and to avoid disturbing their penance, Goddess Ganga divided herself into seven streams at this spot.
